BRANOfol M1 is a bluish transparent special-polyethylene foil, twoside active, with active VCI corrosion protection. It is waterproof, weldable and suitable for automatic packing as well as paper bag production. BRANOfol M1 is available in 40 or 250 μm. By emitting constantly a small amount of active anticorrosion substances ( VCI principle: Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor ), BRANOfol M1 helps to protect metal parts during transport and storage. Active VCI agents effuse and build up a protecting atmosphere, which protects reliably against rust, even after having opened the package for a short time – the protecting atmosphere can be rebuild immediately. The protecting atmosphere is, depending on the volume of the package, availabe after a short time. This holds true even after having opened the package for a short time – the protecting atmosphere will be rebuilt immediately afterwards.

Product Characteristics

Duration of Protection

Depending on climate conditions and how well the packaging is sealed, BRANOfol M1 can offer protection for up to twelve months. The duration of protection can be adapted when the precise application is known.

BRANOfol M1（nitrite free）

Protects steel, cast iron ( only on contact ) , zinc plated steel, tin, aluminium, chromium and zinc against corrosion.

Delivery Forms

Plain foils, sheets, bags, domes, tubes, half tubes, satchel tubes, boxed hoods, elastic string bags and zip lock bags. Custom-made productions and special prints are available.

Storage

Cool and dry, protected from direct sunlight. Shelf-life in the original packaging up to three years.

Disposal

BRANOfol M1 can be supplied for material utilisation. Dirty foils must be disposed of through waste burning.
